2011 BUDDY WALK at Saltillo City Park

Have you ever been to a "Buddy Walk"? If not, be sure to clear your calendars for Saturday, October 1st because you are in for a treat. This awareness and advocacy event is held in over 275 locations around the world each year to raise awareness of Down syndrome, which affects over 400,000 people worldwide. It is a day of fun, celebration and great entertainment. This year, NEMDSS is celebrating it's 5th year of doing a Buddy Walk which has drawn in excess of 1,000 people in year's past. This is the largest annual fundraiser for NEMDSS and this year's event will feature: Live Entertainment, Free Food, Inflatable Moon Walks and Bounce Houses, 5K Buddy Run, Huge Silent Auction, Character Visits, Face Painting, Train Rides, Resource Booths, and More! Donating to NE MS Down Syndrome

Thank you for your interest in donating to the Northeast Mississippi Down Syndrome Society. Your donation will be used to support our programs and services. NEMDSS is totally dependent upon on donations provided through the generosity of many individuals, small businesses and corporations. These donations allow us to continually provide quality programs, events and services for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. We welcome and appreciate your donations!

Memorial or In-Honor of Bequests

A memorial or In Honor of bequest on behalf of a loved one can be a wonderful way to help support the vital programs and services provided by NEMDSS. Please mail any donations to our mailing address with information on the individual you are donating on behalf of. All bequests will receive a letter with tax receipt.
